THE MISSION:
The Cattlemen's Classic team desires to create a space of friendly competition that can help spark individual's interest in the cattle industry or fuel their already established passion. Together, we can do more, which is why we need you! Help us advocate for the American cattle industry and preserve the long lasting history of livestock and agriculture as we come together to lead the next generation of agriculture advocates.
ROLES AS AN AMBASSADOR:
- You are our hype team! Help us motivate other youth, college students, and adults to actively participate in the cattle industry.
- Ambassadors must have appropriate social media platforms (Facebook & Instagram).
- You can be a High School Ambassador or Collegiate Ambassador.
- Ambassadors responsibilities include social media promotion including liking and sharing our social content on their own platforms to help spread the word and motivate others to get involved.
- Ambassadors are encouraged to serve at agriculture events around the state. While a certain amount of hours are not required, ambassadors will be rewarded and recognized for their service based on a point system.
- Ambassadors are also encouraged to serve or compete during the Cattlemen's Classic Judging Contest (October 31, 2026). Attendance is mandatory unless a significant prior obligation exists.
- A point system will be kept for each ambassador including the amount of social media content shared, ambassador referrals, sponsor referrals, and service opportunities.
- The highest performing ambassador in each division at the end of the term will receive a FREE, exclusive Cattlemen's Classic t-shirt!
- Get access to free career development webinars and networking opportunities! These will be offered in 2026 on a case by case basis.
- Terms run from May to May. 2026-2027 Term Applications will open in April 2026.
GUIDELINES:
- Must have a social media account on Facebook and/or Instagram.
- Must like and share Cattlemen's Classic content to their social media pages. In order to track what you share, you must tag and mention our social handle in any posts! Any posts, stories, or shares that are not tagged will not be tabulated in your final point total.
- Ambassadors will use extreme caution and are encouraged to make certain there are no unseemly photos such as and not limited to alcohol, tobacco, illegal actions or lewd activities that Cattlemen's Classic deems inappropriate on any social media pages. This includes written comments. This is part of our ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY.
- The best part...You CAN still compete in the Cattlemen's Classic Judging Contest as an Ambassador!
