CALF ROPING RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Contestants must compete in the division based on their age on contest day. Calf Roping Contest divisions are listed below.
2. Each contestant will receive 2 attempts per round unless otherwise stated.
3. Contestants must remain behind the marked roping line until rope is released.
4. Rope must fully catch the dummy horns/head area to count as a legal catch.
5. Missed attempts or illegal catches will receive no time for that attempt.
6. Unsportsmanlike conduct toward judges, volunteers, or contestants will result in disqualification.
7. Judges’ decisions are final.
8. Event coordinators reserve the right to combine divisions or adjust format based on entry numbers.
9. Awards: Prizes will be given in all divisions that fill. 
10. The committee retains the right to alter these rules at any time.

Team Roping Contest

Any age combinations may enter a team of 2 to compete! Open to all ages!

Round One: $10 a man, $20 per team

After Round One: buy-ins are $5 a man, $10 a team, per run

1. Must enter before the end of the first round
2. Re-enter as many times as you want
3. 3 head progressive after round 1
4. Roping on foot
5. Cow dummy will come out of a chute
6. Head and Heel the cow
7. One loop per header and one loop per heeler per run
8. The fastest team will receive Header and Heeler Champion buckles. Further prizes to be announced.
